TERFs would look at this analogy differently. They world say, if it has a Dell box, it’s a PC. They don’t care what’s on the inside. They just care about the outside container.
Perhaps a better analogy is the can of peas. Cans of peas get a PEAS label. Cans of carrots get a label saying CARROTS. However, a can of peas accidentally mislabeled CARROTS is not a can of carrots.
What matters is on the inside.
