Thank you Sara, your words mean a lot to me.

A close friend of mine is a married lesbian mom. One of the most irritating questions, for her, that she gets asked far too often, is “so which one of you carried the baby?” She feels this question brings with it an implied delegitimization of her as a parent. People who don’t have to contend with society’s judgment and prejudice are often unintentionally hurtful.

I love that science and technology keep making such leaps. I also hope that we all keep moving towards a more accepting, more aware society.
