Response to Marabaid

Maya Forstater published a public manifesto. It’s extremely easy to know exactly what she believes. And what she believes is that the transgender condition does not exist, that trans women are in fact men playing dressup, and that laws supporting trans rights should be fought. I have absolutely no idea why you’re equivocating. In the race debate, where Black activists oppose racists, there is no “good people on both sides.” In this debate, there is no “legitimacy on both sides.”

There are people like me, trying to live —and there are people like Maya, making sure our lives are harder.
