Cisgender people who don't have much exposure to trans issues often miss aggressions about our community. Just like white people often miss aggressions against Black people, and Europeans don't catch when something is offensive or oppressive toward native & indigenous people.
J.K. Rowling couched her messages in polite language. But she stated extremely transphobic views.
