Response to Cathy

Ok, first of all, I know very well the difference between a radical feminist and a TERF. Secondly, while it’s unclear which group you align with, it’s obvious YOU’RE transphobic. You jump to call me a man in your first paragraph.

Two key points about TERF:

A. The acronym was coined by TERFs. They only distanced themselves from it once people started using it disapprovingly. (the new term is ‘gender critical’.)

B. A slur attacks a person for their identity, which they have no control over. A slur would be a nasty name for a Muslim, a Mexican, a Pakistani person, a handicapped person, a redhead. Attributes the person cannot change. TERF is a callout of bigoted ideas and behavior. Ideas and behavior which the person CHOOSES to engage in, out of ignorance and malice.
