We're not understanding one another. I never denied the importance of intersectionality.
As an immigrant Latina, I'm very aware of the privileges I've had because of my light skin, and the privileges I've lacked because I'm an immigrant and a Latina.
What I was trying to convey is that Chappelle going after trans people on the assumption this is a white demographic is quite evidently wrong. Trans folk exist in all races and ethnicities.
I struggle to understand how you can listen to this bigot rant against trans rights for 34 minutes, support TERF talking points and misrepresent us to millions of viewers, and find that amusing. 🙄
