I believe current stats show around 2% of medically-transitioning people seeing to detransition. Some of these were originally complex cases, with autism, DID or other co-morbidities making course of therapy difficult. Some of these are very much trans, but experienced such backlash from community, religion or family that they would prefer to detransition rather than face such strong social stigmatization.
I am curious and open to speak to detransitioners. Unfortunately, what I keep finding is that behind every message such as yours there is simply a cisgender transphobic troll with no lived experience. It's disappointing.
